Daniel James McCabe Ramsey Family

Daniel James McCabe Ramsey came from Rockcastle County, Kentucky with cousins and a wagon train of family to Greene County, Missouri. He and his brother were orphaned by the deaths of his parents about 1861-1865. He worked as a farmhand for Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Jasper Watts who lived near Rogersville, Missouri. There he met the sister of Mrs. Watts, Mary Jane Hedgpeth. They were married in 1871 in Greene County, Missouri. George W. Horsley(d. 16 Mar 1913) My grandfather, George W. Horsley, was a police officer in Wellington in 1910 and was listed as a resident there with wife Mary, daughter Louis Edna (who was my mother), and one son, Will. He had previously been on the Blackwell OK force. After 1910, he moved to Wichita and joined the force about 1911. He suddenly died on Mar 26, 1913.
