Daniel James McCabe Ramsey Family
Daniel James McCabe Ramsey came from Rockcastle County, Kentucky with cousins and a wagon train of family to Greene County, Missouri. He and his brother were orphaned by the deaths of his parents about 1861-1865. He worked as a farmhand for Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Jasper Watts who lived near Rogersville, Missouri. There he met the sister of Mrs. Watts, Mary Jane Hedgpeth. They were married in 1871 in Greene County, Missouri.
